Project Overview

INTERMED developed a platform to improve healthcare provision for citizens and travellers in remote and isolated regions of the south-east Mediterranean, as well as on board ships crossing the area. The platform supported medical knowledge sharing, collaboration among health personnel, remote care, telemedicine in emergency situations, and eLearning services for continuous training.

Syndesis Contribution

• Contributed to the development of a telemedicine and collaboration platform for remote and maritime settings
• Supported services for tele-collaboration and tele-consultation among health professionals
• Participated in the development of home care telemedical services for at-risk citizens
• Supported emergency telemedicine and training/eLearning services for healthcare personnel and caregivers
